Radio Juicy proudly presents Vienna aka Liam Mansfield, a young Canadian producer and beat maker hailing from Montreal. Drawing inspiration from Jazz, funk and beats, his music is often described as "crunchy" and alternative. Shared Space was produced during lockdown in 2020 and is an album encompassing Liam's feelings over a heavily charged year.

Urban Waves Records presents "Some Alternate Timelines”, the new album by Canadian producer Liam Mansfield a.k.a. Vienna. The young producer is known for his unique sound, inspired by a rich blend of styles ranging from funk, electronic, jazz, hip hop and even disco.
As the name indicates, we're landing in a parallel universe where things took a different path but nuances are subtle. Rhythms are off kilter, synths are strangely crunchy, electric piano chords bubble up and fly away, and yet somehow it all pulls together beautifully. Discovering these unique sonic elements is part of the experience, and as you progress through the album it's hard not to become infatuated. Vienna's music has a very singular charm and feel that will take you by surprise, but once you're struck it feels natural and familiar.

Liam Mansfield operates from his cave in Montreal, Canada under the alias Vienna. Here, Liam is making tunes in classic hiphop form, while applying the ever-growing influence of nu-jazz & electroacoustic textures into his compositions.
Using the cult favourite SP404 for sampling records, recording his small drum kit and tracking bass & lead lines with the Juno 106, Vienna crafts a uniquely crunchy sound defined by a mixing real instruments with classic sampling technique.
